Voluntarily, he moves.
There isn't much time before the canons warm up again, and he can't keep running forever...
so instead, he re-enters, grabbing beakers and chemicals and anything he can get into one armful--and hurtling them at Nemesis.]

[attacking him is one thing. attacking his experiments - oh, Nemesis is /mad/, now, shielding himself with the cannons. but as the beakers shatter and the chemicals spread, there's a hissing sound and subtle traces of smoke.
oh, Megatron. you done it now.]
I will be certain to speak with my agent - right after I drown your spark's light in the Darkness once more!
[that next blast? that isn't the cannons. that is the Darkness erupting from Nemesis' hand, all but howling as it lunges for Megatron.]

But first he'll need to get an idea of what Nemesis is capable of, and how he fights. Not at all presently available to him by watching him send one attack towards Megatron.
So he fires one blast between the two. Nothing aggressive, just a blinding beam of light, certain to confuse optics and hopefully allow him to pull Megatron out of the way.]

[He laughed--openly defiant, grimacing with a look half-way between triumph and terror. The darkness...horrified him. It breached his nightmares, denied all the he had built and worked for, suffocated him and wrapped him in its chilling death each time he recharged...]

[He certainly did back off, however, at the sudden blast between him and the darkness.]

[With a smirk, he looked toward Nemesis.] Let me go, and I will give you a chance to clear your lab out, intact.

he'll grip his fists, wing-cannons flaring to all sides, preparing to take down this entire building in a single shot if need be. he will not be shot in the back again, not like Galvatron, but he will /not/ simply back down.
this is more than just a fight for his laboratory. the Darkness retracts to him, pulling back. there's only so much he can do with it, without preparing himself for combat before hand, and if there's more coming...
...he'll see your stalling measure, Megatron. and raise you one of his own, as he tries to recover the situation.]
You seek to evict me? I knew you bore struts, but if you seek death I assure you I can give you one with far less trouble than this.

There isn't much to say, aside from that Nemesis is a far more fascinating specimen up close.]

However, I've already keyed up the coordinates to send out, openly, to the Network, in one minute's time.
[Shockwave's presence was...comforting, in an odd way, and he ventured forward in his gamble with more readiness than he'd had, before. Was he growing so soft, that even the already dead could sneak up on him?]
So you can take me up on my offer, and retreat at your own leisure, saving your work...
Or you can try to kill me, and find this place swarming in an instant, with everything you've come to do for naught.

I do not run.
[It seems fit to mention. There is no reason to fear Nemesis, even if his knowledge on the mech is limited. The other has limited knowledge on him and that is suitable enough for the strategist. He has seen what he wants, and he is not leaving unless there are no other options. Not currently the case.
Megatron can stay or leave, he needs only his logic for this.]

Shockwave, I'm done here. You can stay if you wish...
[He laughs, softly.] Though it would almost be worth it to see the both of you underestimating each other.

[you can be damned sure that you'll receive a nice little surprise when you return, Megatron. now get the hell out. he's eyeing Shockwave now, distantly remembering that Jhiaxus had an apprentice, a violet one who - if memory banks serve - was nearly identical to this one...]
