Another wonderful tutorial! I wish I'd done this one prior to the more visually exciting one about complex backgrounds because this is precisely the blending/fading effect I was trying to get on some of the practice icons I was making. So much easier to Gaussian blur than blur + erase @ 30% + blur +... You get the picture. Anyhow, thank you for yet another incredible tutorial that teaches me how the layers work and how to bend them to my will.
