I can hardly move at the moment, my neck hurts like hell, it's sore and stiff. but it's a good enough reason to not clean up the apartment and watch Xena instead. (not embarrassed to admit it, heee, also I'm ever the optimist *g

heee, it's really quite easy, as long as you have enough patience to make your own gradient, and you used PS 7.0 or higher to change the Brush tip setting, there can hardly go anything wrong *g*
Yeah, I know how to make my own gradients already, so I'm half way there. ;)
I have a couple of tutorials on how to make different types of textures, but yours is the first I've seen for watercolour textures! I'm so excited to try this, I really want to offer textures to the members in my community.
But as with everything, I want to learn how to make things by tutorial, then come up with my own creations, so as not to just be offering the same as everyone else, ya know?
most people are too lazy for own gradients (myself included *g*), so whenever I feel like actually doing one I save it and use it to death ;)
I'm glad you find it useful, I haven't seen anything for watercolor textures around either (but then again, I'm not very active in the communities *g*), so I had to try it on my own...
come up with my own creations, so as not to just be offering the same as everyone else, ya know? yup, I understand perfectly. that's why I hardly post any tuts that say, use this brush, and then this texture, and then this color. I aim for more general techniques :)
heee, I have CS, too, but strangely I'm always using my good old 7.0 version ;)
I couldn't follow it completely because I use Photoshop Elements 2, which doesn't have all the subtleties of the full version (though it has a hell of a lot of them if you bother to look *g*), but I still managed something and I used tools I generally forget about (like making a gradient). I really felt I learnt something. Thanks.
