Lovely example! I'll have to try this out later (I use Photo Impact...but most of the steps look pretty straigtforward). Thanks so much :)

thank you :)

hmmm, is it possible to change the brush settings in Photo Impact? other than that I think most Graphics programs should be capable of the other things I've used for this :)

From what I understand, the brushes work somewhat differently in PI than with other programs (at least I think so...I'm not familiar with PS or PSP). But yes, you can change certain things. The menues aren't exactly the same though.

I have always done very simple tasks in the past, but I'm trying to play around some more and learn some new techniques.....make some happy accidents and all that lol. There aren't hardly any PI tuts out there, so I have to find cool PS or PSP tuts and do my best to adapt.

I don't use any other programs than PS.

ok, if I have to, I use Corel's PhotoPaint sometimes. but only if there is no PS on the computer I'm working with, because it is an evil program *g*

it's not the worst thing to have to adapt tuts to the program you're using, that way you have to put some thought into it and actually learn something about your program :)

I'm still learning all the things PS can do, so i know what I'm talking about ;)

Thanks for the tutorial! I love when your tuts pop up on my friends list.

By the way, who's Erich? That's my name! =P You mentioned it in a previous entry, and my first thought was "How could such a great artist know someone like me?!"

It's an honor to share the same name as your Photoshop =P

The good artists are always modest ;)

Since I'm new to your tutorials and some things on photoshop still confuse me..How do you make a new gradient

I was going to go about do this for my new background, but I had to stop and try and find out how and I can' figure it out.

I'd really love some help so I may use your tut! Thank you so much. ^__^
