It was Friday when we started to gather at the castle in Erstatzburg for awioppffsof. The weather held whilst the early arrivals wandered around, checking out the bar, the expansive moat, a fine fungi collection in the dungeons and the small dragon preserve around the back, which offered some rather nice light shows as the evening drew in

With more notice there can be an art/craft show, more costumes, badges.... you know the sort of thing ;)

I am picking up the odd phrase from my daughter, who is finally learning at school. The latest one is 'Ich bin eine ente' - I did say it was the odd phrase :D
