Right! A unisex hunt! For the perpetrator! And if it might only last until midnight, I'm eating as much as I can before then. It's been a while since food has actually been, y'know, much with the enjoyment.

Well, I'm usually alive back home. Just not... here, lately. Except now I am!

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Process of elimination! In the meantime, maybe I'll eat like one or two dozen things from the pantry.

And no, it was the suckiest of the sucky, being undead. It's cool with the not breathing part, but then it gets... depressing. And eating food just kind of makes you feel woozy. So! Now I can say I'm alive and kickin' and looking forward to gorging on my next meal! But not in a weird way.

Oh. Yeah, I wouldn't want to be not able to eat. I guess if you don't get any undead-powers s'not really worth it.

Um....though I didn't think you could get better from being dead....is it a "City" thing?

Nope, no ability to turn invisible, fly or blow things up with my mind. Unfair.

City thing, yeah. If you make a deal with the deities, they can give it back to you, with a wave of their metaphorical magic wands. And then poof! Alive. I don't actually know who made the deal for me, but I'm suspecting that Harry knows.

It's not really intensely awkward, I don't think. It's actually pretty awesome, so I guess that cancels out the awkward.
