Writing Update #6
As I feared, this week was not as good as last week. I wrote about 5 and a half pages (which is one scene) so that means that chapter 10 is now almost 17 pages long. The good thing was, the scene was fun to write. But the bad thing was that I had to rewrite it so often because I was never satisfied with the result ._. I'm still not super-satisfied

If find I'm not happy with a scene, I leave it alone for a while and then go back and tweak it. Or if I can't put my finger on what is wrong with it, I run it by a beta.
I wouldn't say Ive had much experience with scenes I'm 'never' 100 percent happy with, I always regard any unhappiness I have with a scene as being temporary and fixable, even if I don't know right then what the fix is. When I fix it and it feels right, then I'm happy!

Yeah I think I'll turn back to that scene in a week or so, maybe then I'll be able to improve it. Or maybe I notice that it's not as bad as I thought (that happens to me from time to time, too).
Let's see how much I'll write this week, now that I don't have to worry about getting my driver's license anymore (I still can't believe it - I mean, now I'm suddenly allowed to drive cars! Ohmygawd! *freaks out* )
