I'm going to college now which means I have to take the subway every day - it takes about half an hour, often more, and since I have to go there up to three times a day, it's not unusual for me to spend about three hours a day just riding the subway. (Okay, this shocks even me xD

I'll try it. Recently I've been wanting to find new M/M authors so that I can read myself to sleep at night. I almost put out a post on my LJ asking for book recs! Maybe I should still do that.

Anyway, I have a recommendation for you too. Bad Boyfriend by KA Mitchell is really good. It's laugh-out-loud funny and the sex scenes are madly hot. I bought it last year and read it, and just read it again recently because I was short on reading material.

That sounds cute! Thank you, I'll definitely check it out. I just ordered a reading sample which I'll read tomorrow on the subway to college.

Because I had nothing to read anymore, I started reading the e-book "50 Gays of Shade" (I admit it - the title made me curious xD ), which is a collection of shortstories set in a gay BDSM club. As you can guess, it's light reading and quite entertaining, but every time I feel like someone is peeking over my shoulder, I have to quickly switch to an innocent historical hetero-romance gratis-e-book xD

I've downloaded the sample, but haven't finished it yet. I think I'm going to enjoy it, though!

I think I've figured out a possible reason why LJ doesn't send me emails when you post. We're not listed as mutual friends on each other's LJ. You're on my LJ profile as a friend and I'm on yours as a friend, and I've even asked LJ specifically to send me a notification every time you do something, but it never happens for some reason. Do you have any thoughts about this?

Never mind-- I think I've fixed the problem. For some reason I had LJ set to notify me only if you made a comment with your cats tag. I don't know how I did that. But anyway, I believe I'll get notifications from you from now on.
