he passed away last night, apparently. ='(

my boyfriend is a bigger fan than me, Rainbow etc is his deal more than mine, but i'm still really sorry to see him go. no one can deny how much he contributed to music, and he seemed like a really awesome person too, as evidenced by his epic appearance in Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny...

heard he died that same day. heard also when Sid Barret died was even in a tiny spot on the world news, very sad.
