he passed away last night, apparently. ='(

my boyfriend is a bigger fan than me, Rainbow etc is his deal more than mine, but i'm still really sorry to see him go. no one can deny how much he contributed to music, and he seemed like a really awesome person too, as evidenced by his epic appearance in Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny...

so let us remember the awesome he gave to us, and smile!
