Lilly bounces over shortly after Alanna comes in, grinning happily.

"Happy birthday, 'lanna! What do you think of the decor?"

"I love it," she says, almost reverently. "We've never had a party before. It's wonderful."

Eyes bright, she continues to stare at everything around her as if it will disappear. No, she likely won't stop gushing about this for quite some time.

"Well," Lilly explains solemnly, "if it rains, the drops won't get into your drink and water it down."

She manages to hold her straight face for a few seconds.

"Yeah, there is no reason why. They're just pretty."

"I think I'll give mine to the dragons to play with. Goddess, Lilly." Alanna snorts with laughter. "I took the twins to meet Lucy. They systematically destroyed Caspian's underwear."

The embarrassment has faded by now, so Alanna continues to laugh without the blush that would've appeared previously.

"It hasn't affected the Antichrist negatively, that's for sure."

"I didn't mention them by name." Her eyes grow wide with horror. "Not that I've named them! Oh, Goddess. That didn't come out right at all."

"I will neither confirm nor deny that." She peeks at Lilly through her fingers. "If I gave them some of my usual names, he'd probably never touch me again."

Alanna chokes.

"I meant his TESTICLES!" Now why did she have to say that so loud? It's Lilly, Alanna decides. Lilly makes her crazy. She'd probably be upset if she wasn't laughing so hard. "Although Liam might have done such a thing. MIGHT."
