Finally finished-- I started writing this months ago, I think, and it's taken me until now to finish it. The next installment in the 'All He Ever Wanted' series-- so featuring more married!H/Hr smut (and we can never have too much of that, right?)

You're welcome! On the off-chance that you don't see it, or for someone who wonders what Tom's on about (an all-too-common occurrence, I'm afraid): Basically, in nearly every story I've seen where the issue is discussed, you've got one of three situations: They don't talk about it, and they're using contraceptive charms; they do talk about it, and Hermione wants kids as much as Harry does, it's just a matter of First We've Got To Defeat Voldie-Muffin; or she gets pregnant accidentally and immediately chooses to have the kid. The idea of taking a few months, or years, or longer, and not have kids right away seems alien to them; maybe it's a Weasley Area Effect thing. ;)

Actually, the notion of Hermione adamantly refusing to have a child right now could be very interesting. Or of Harry not wanting a family, for whatever reason -- self-doubt, simple wanting of some rest, you name it -- especially if Hermione reads him wrong and gets pregnant, thinking to surprise him and make him happy with his own family ( ... )

I can't imagine Hermione ever getting pregnant accidentally; this is Hermione after all and she's too bright to take that sort of chance, honestly. If I don't mention it in some of my smut fics, it's because I'm operating under the assumption (in my world) that all girls who are at that certain age start taking it to 'regulate their courses' and make their lives easier-- and really, they're witches, you really think that sort of birth control to make their lives easier isn't one of the first magical things they invented ( ... )

Marvelous. Simply marvelous. I love how Hermione approached the issue of kids and how she finally arrived at her decision. I love how supportive Harry was about it. I love that he found using her wand so natural. And I love the very, very hot smut. A terrific fic.

Thank you! I'm glad you like the wand part; that was something that I included on impulse, basically, because the idea got stuck in my head and wouldn't leave.

oh, god, the emphasis on all he "would ever" want is just so powerful, i think i fell in love with this ship all over again too.
