Ah, this is very angsty but kind of lovely as well. It's a good insight into just how devoted Gordon is to Gotham.

And the last line summed it up beautifully.

Oh noes poor Gordon :( It's so true what Barbara says - how can she compete with Gotham for Gordon's affections? And it's so sad that they do love each other, but things just had to end this way. Great fic, and hope to see more from you soon!
