I haven't logged into Gaiaonline since the first quarter of 2009. But just for the heck of it, just to make sure I still had my stuff there, I logged in to Yu-Tan today. ...Or at least, attempted to.

I got hacked once, although the idiot didn't change my password and I was able to get the stuff back after a few months. The period in between was terribad; I actually had to ask my friends for gold loans. I paid them back with interest, of course, but damn it was such a fucked up time.

I hardly use my account anymore, which is why I only now noticed the hacking that seemed to have happened mid-2009, so I don't need gold loans or anything.

But I worked terribly, terribly hard for all my stuff. My account is 6 years old. You can just imagine the amount of stuff I lost. I can only imagine it, too, since I can't log in and find out exactly what's gone (though most likely all of it).

I do hope Gaia fixes this and strengthens their security. I have never been to any of those websites that steal your password, nor have I been scammed for it. I haven't been online for a year, so I really have no idea how the person hacked me.

I try to keep with gaia... sometimes. Haven't been on so much anymore. I think I transitioned from gaiaonline to eljay. :D

Ouch, i can imagine. I've been a member for barely half that, and I'd be devastated if I lost all that crap.

Did you hear? There are this breach in the gaiaonline safety, so that if you used the marketplace, there was a possibility of getting hacked. Don't know the specifics, but the word around was, don't use the vend unless you want to risk getting hacked. D:
