4) Most of my favorite MCU fanvids are in my playlist on YT. Check out more by any of the vidders (especially ann2who) Focus tends to be on Tony or Steve+Tony.

Hm, think I might have a couple of AUs for you. Clockwork Empire is a great steampunk AU. Data is King is an epic, imaginative cyberpunk AU.

And for a fantasy AU, try Traitor's Throne.

Clockwork Empire was AMAZING! Cannot wait to read the other two.

Here are my favorite fanvids. There's some not-MCU Marvel in there too, but you can search for specific fandoms through the tags at the right. ;)

vids I love:

Both are Loki centric. The second vid could be seen as either gen or Thorki. (I tend to see it as gen.)

I'm super late to this, hope you don't mind some more recs!

1) Fantasy AUs

Steve:

Immortal Engines by rhymer23 is an awesome steampunk AU which vaguely follows the plot of The Avengers, but in 1878. There are POV chapters from all the team. Has bonus art at the end of each chapter!

Diamond in the Rough by carzla and Waking the Dragon by tsukinofaerii are both great straight-up fantasy AUs.

the sirens and the thunder by legete is kind of a fantasy AU (Captain America as in canon, only Bucky is a selkie).

If you're interested in 616!AUs, one of my absolute fave fics of all time is Heroes and Devils by marinarusalka, which is technically a crossover with Fallen London, but is totally accessible as a steampunk AU with zero prior knowledge.

Loki:

I don't have any specific fantasy AUs focusing on Loki as such, but a lot of canon/norse myth hybrid fics read a lot like fantasy. See if any of these take your fancy:

Better Teamwork Through Dragon Hunting
Shaduw Wereld (this one is a Cthulu Mythos crossover)
A Winter's Ride
A Small ... )
