Tony already had his own fanbase before he became Iron Man, but after the fight with Loki the other Avengers get their own fanbases as well. Steve is popular amongst conservatives and Middle America, Natasha's fanbase consists of 20something year old guys who have all dreamed of a beautiful woman who could (and would) kick their asses, Bruce is big with science geeks and lonely kids who feel like outcasts, and Clint's fanbase consists of teen and 20something year old girls who adore him for the same reasons they love Merida, Legolas, and Katniss ( ... )

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed this! This came together slowly, over the course of a few months, and then just wound up the way it is.

Also, I thought you'd like to know this: I work at an amusement park, and when kids come in wearing Avengers stuff, I always ask them who their favorite Avenger is. The kids who say "Thor" are almost always little girls.

This is the first fic I've looked at and said "This is /Thor/" about, and you have all of my admiration for that.

Thank you so much! Writing an IC Thor has been one of my biggest goals since I started writing in this fandom. I think the biggest factor in creating the Thor-ness is that I have to be able to imagine the dialogue coming out of Chris Hemsworth's mouth. I'm so glad this version works for you.
