Think about it, the man has to be a freaking math genius and quite handy at physics in order to know just how to throw his shield so it rebounds back to him every time.
So maybe some of the other Avengers drag him out to a bar one night for some R&R and he totally hustles them at pool without anyone even realizing it.
+100 if he alludes to having hustled pool with the rest of the Howling Commandos back in the war.
+1000 if he used his abilities before the war to make some extra cash. e.g. He wasn't strong enough to work to pay his part of the rent but he definitely knew how to work the tables to make a little extra cash on the side.
In case you hadn't guess, this particular fan loves the idea of a less than squeaky clean Steve and one who uses more of his pragmatic side rather than the shining paragon of a boy scout light so many people write him in.
