Bruce/Tony or gen, AU with teen!Bruce (possible abuse)

AU in which Bruce is still just a teenager when he Hulkifies himself. As a kid, he's much less able to run from country to country, and less willing, but! He's found a (very temporary) cure/treatment for the Hulk.

So he stays in his small town home, working a shitty minimum wage job, pretending that he's not a genius who turned himself into a Jekyll-and-Hyde monster. That's how SHIELD finds him.

All the other Avengers are the same as they are in canon. If you want to incorporate his abusive father, by all means, do, but you don't have to. Tony/Bruce would be AMAZING, but gen is really really awesome too.

(This prompt was sort of inspired by Regina Spektor's song "The Genius Next Door" - so if you want to use that as inspiration, that'd be awesome, but it is a very loose inspiration so it's not mandatory by any means.)
