Bruce has always wanted to know what he might have done better to have not ended up as the Hulk. A while after he meets Steve, he asks if he'd be willing to be tested/examined to see if Bruce can figure out the difference. Steve, having always felt guilty that he was the only one Dr. Erskine was ever able to help, readily agrees.

Except the studying goes both ways - while Bruce is running tests, him and Steve get to talking. And eventually the original reason for them to spend hours together in the lab gets a little lost in some personal discoveries they're both making...

Give me the Avengers & extended cast in your favourite sport and/or team.

What positions do they play? Why did you cast them in that position? How well do pairs within the team need to get along - can Tony and Steve stick to their own plans or does everyone still need to work together? If it’s an all male team, is Natasha the physio or team manager or coach?

(Even if not in story form - headcanons, who would fit where because of reasons and who fits somewhere else because they’re nothing like every other position?)
