This is a very good and plausible theory. Jin didn't seem incredibly surprised by the fact that the lanterns lit themselves instantly, which is very suspicious. I know if I had been standing in the middle of a dark place with a stranger, I would be MAJOR freaked if lanterns magically lit.
I was thinking something along the same lines, but I've not been so sure about writing it down because even though it does seem completely plausible and and makes sense with how rushed that entire date went, I still think there's something we're missing in this. I don't know, we'll see though..
Heheheh. I love it! I still think that Zuko and Jin are adorable together, but if your theory proves true, it'll make things so much more interesting. >D
I kinda hope this theory is true so that we can say the episode wasn't complete filler, but I'm kinda leaning towards that it was. Zuko just seemed to make big mistakes, and I have a feeling it has to do with the fact that the writer for his tale is a complete newbie to the show. =\
Ooh, go you. I honestly haven't thought too much about Jin (well, other than "ooh, pretty!") or her character or anything, but I really love this theory.
