"Tastes like burning"
XD Oh my. That just amused me *waaaaaay* more than it should have. I was seriously laughing out loud for five minutes. Oh man.
Anyway, wonderful fic. It was so cute towards the end. Dare I say...fluffy?? I loved the characterizations and dialogue. So good. *bows before master* You do indeed have major madd fic-writing skillz. Can't wait to read more. ^_~

noo not fluffy!!! *g*
as a personal opinion, i don't think my writing is fluffy. it's just.. not angst, and with a few nice circumstances. hee. But i'm going for the upper as opposed to the downer here. maybe that IS fluff :)
I have much fun with the dialogue, can you tell? *g*
thankyou for reading and responding, makes ME fluffy :)
I love your Trowa ^_^ Especially when he smirks. Trowa smirking is something I don't really see much in fics but that really seems to suit him. I like that mental image. ^-^ And your Duo is awesome too. The part where he was questioning Trowa was my favorite part, definitely. ^^
The questions was one of the best parts. I was trying to think of all of these things that trowa wasn't (serial killer, xenophobe, automaton), and then just making up the questions to suit. My favourite is the serial killer one, though. I don't know, is it bad taste to laugh at your own jokes?
thanks for reading and replying, it's great to hear from you :)
I think it's a good sign to laugh at your own jokes. Means you're having fun, and having fun is always good when writing ^__^
I think part of the greatness of the serial killer one is that it comes totally out of the blue(and it brings amusing images of serial killer Trowa to mind).
Cheers - and apologies...damoyreJuly 31 2002, 21:55:33 UTC
1. Let me just say that I'm *terribly* sorry for not being available. I just really have too much going on right now... but I will not bore you with details - so just let me say that I *am* truly sorry. I suck, what can I say? =P
2. The fic is great. I love just how ordinary the situation is, and how naturally the conversation between Duo and Trowa flows. I don't think there's anything I can say that hasn't already been said about this series. It's original, well-written and humorous. I love your characterizations. You're very true to Trowa and Duo, in their actions, speech patterns and mannerisms. You really bring them out to life. ^_^
3. > "I wish I could do that." > "What, shoot Heero?"
I was laughing out loud with this part. There were other funny lines, but this was my favorite. ^_^
4. I'm glad you got Steph to look it over too. She has wonderful voices for the guys, and I like to rely on her to tell me when something isn't flowing. She's a great beta. ;)
5. There's no 5. Just another apology to you. *HUG*

as I told you earlier; no need for apologies :) I'm really glad you've enjoyed it. I have to say the easiest and most fun part for me in writing these fics IS the dialogue between Duo and Trowa. I usually have a general idea of what I want to say, and a point I want to get to, but gags like the shooting Heero one just insert themselves in without me really thinking about them :)
I'm having such fun in departing from the fanon mold. I think maybe it helps I haven't been in Gundam very long... but while I have, i HAVE seen enough of the stereotypes to last a lifetime. just trying to put my personal stamp on this fandom of writing. Hee. I hope that doesn't sound pretentious!
As always, I really appreciate your comments and input. Let's all hope I can come up with the next idea soon :)
I would have to say that: "I wish I could do that."
"What, shoot Heero?" -is my favorite line. ^_^ It conjures up oddly amusing mental images. The whole fic makes me feel very warm and fuzzy, but not overly mushy. 2+3 can be such a wonderful thing when it's so well written.
i utterly squee at your icon. there's a HEART. and it's FLASHING. heee. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm not going for slush, just nice warm feelings. Thankyou for reading and commenting ^_^

I've yet to see a single Gundam episode, i only know the characters from pics and fanfics (but like you said, the stereotypes abound...) Anyway, I loved this little 3-part ficcy you did! You have a way with the characters that is amazing (you always manage to get them to appear really 3D.) For example... I love some of Duo's inner dialogue. Especially in part 3 when he's going on and on about the floor *grin* somehow, his personality just really shone through in those parts.
