Left for Monterey/Carmel on Saturday morning.  It's only about an hour from where I'm staying, and the drive was pretty neat.   
First we went to Monterey and walked around the Wharf.  It wasn't all that great, lots of fish stands and tourist shops.  Met some cool Brits at a coffee shop then walked the Historic Monterey Walk and had lunch at this ( Read more... )

New Potter Puppet Pals!

okay...

I have had NO coffee today, no sugar, and I only had about five hours of sleep last night, so why am I NOT tired! I tried to sleep, couldn't do it, had a shower, curled my hair, tried again, and here I am... on LJ... NOT SLEEPING! BAH! Must try again otherwise I'm gunna be soooo grumpy tomorrow morning!

of COURSE...isn't this the way it always works! Alllll week it's nice a pretty out while I'm working, inside, with no windows. Now it's my day off and is it remotely sunny? Nope! Fecking weather!

What IS that bright ball of light in the sky? The Sun seems to be the least possible explanation for this whole thing... so I'm gunna have to go with giant asteroid heading towards earth! Sounds good!
