After 3/4 year of reading Buffy/Giles fics...

... I know what I like in Buffy /Giles fanfics.

Likes:
- fics which are set in the summer after season 2 where Giles is in search of Buffy
- Band Candy fics or fics where Giles turns into Ripper mode
- flashbacks to Ripper times
- Green Card fics
- Giles having a social life outside Sunnydale (family and friends in England)
- therefore I love fics which

Seems our tastes in fics is very much in alignment. :) Although I won't ship Giles and Buffy before Graduation. Anyway, I prefer character development and motivations to help a plot along.

Um... you know, I would love a copy of that. :)

Oh well, I'm not picky about shipping Giles and Buffy. I agree season 1 and 2 are too early but season 3 is fine for me :)

I like a lot of your fiction preferences, although I have to add one dislike, Giles/Ethan or Giles/male character. I don't have a problem with same sex pairings, I just dislike them for Giles *shrugs* go figure :)

Ohh I agree Giles/Ethan is a big no go for me, although I'm quite sure they were involved with each other during their Eyghon years. However I have a weak spot for Giles/Xander. I've read some amazing believable fics with this pairing.
Actually this list was my like/dislike list for Buffy/Giles but maybe I will create one with other pairings I dislike or tolerate. My main focus will still be Buffy/Giles :)
