After 3/4 year of reading Buffy/Giles fics...
... I know what I like in Buffy /Giles fanfics.
Likes:
- fics which are set in the summer after season 2 where Giles is in search of Buffy
- Band Candy fics or fics where Giles turns into Ripper mode
- flashbacks to Ripper times
- Green Card fics
- Giles having a social life outside Sunnydale (family and friends in England)
- therefore I love fics which are set in England with lot of things we don't know about Giles
- Buffy having a baby without Giles knowing it
- Giles' singing
- drunken Giles (is fun Giles)
Dislikes:
- any involvement of Angel or Angel Investigations (Sorry, I can't stand Angel. Wesley is ok as long as it's set in season 3)
- any major involvement of Faith (another character I can't stand)
- Vamp! Giles or Vamp! Buffy
- too much vampires, demons or prophecies. For me it's all about the characters and although I consider myself as a fan of Buffy I'm not so much into vampires, demons or fantasy in general.
Ohh and by the way I finally got an audio of Anthony singing "Every breath you take" in a very good quality. Don't ask me how I got it. It seems somewhat obsessive to admit to write e-mails to strangers just because of some random google finding ;) So if you're interested drop me a line.
