Premise,
You're at home, work, school, somewhere you frequent when the place is raided. You've been tagged as a mutant because of your abnormal abilities and the government wants to 'keep the public safe' or at least that's what they tell the people around you when they sedate you and to you in. What they really want to know is exactly what makes you tick-- even if they have to take you apart to do it. You'll wake up somewhere between the bus ride and the prison admissions with a distinct feeling of wrong.
Your powers are gone.
Shackled like inmates, even if you've never committed a crime in your life, you find your treated no better than hardened criminals. Strip searched and given a neon green jumper and a collar. There's nothing extraordinary about the jumper, and the collar has several black spots on the inside, but appears harmless till you've slid it on. In each of those black spots is a needle, one that injects the suppressant serum every six hours starting when you're first forced to put it on. If you don't do so willingly, make no mistake they will force you. Once collared and changed, all of your things are taken from you and you're shoved into the general population without anything more than a room number.
It's then you meet fellow mutants, some who've been there for a long time, others as new and confused as you are. They tell you stories of experimentation, torture and the lifeless humans called the Automatons that are harvested in a compound assembled in a closed off wing of the prison. It's then, you'll realize, how bad things are and worse, they've never told you when you would get back out.
