It's always nice being back in your own body. Too cold for the whole snake thing...not the right season. Let's chat Luceti. It's called Reincarnation. Wonder, what would some of you choose to be could you have a second life? [ He'd love to see some of the answers you people give. ] Is a god like that merciful? Or maybe just a bastard? Life here is not unlike immortality, thinking on it. It's not really reincarnation at all.

Exactly. Reincarnation is like...movement of the soul or something. But if you told the people that believed in it about this place they'd probably call you insane.

Has it's perks I guess. Not waking up as a bug is nice.

Some would call immortality a curse, though.

Curse? That's just some people's opinions and no one is ever happy, huh? Haven't found anything wrong with it to be honest. Long as you have entertainment, that pretty much evens things out.

What are you on about? Are you saying you were a snake?

You don't miss a thing. I sure was. [ Multiple times even. ]

Was it something to do with the Malnosso, or are you trying to say you had a brief spell of reincarnation?

I'll take Malnosso for five hundred. Buggers decided it was funny to put me back in old skin.

[Frederic had been playing the piano at the Seventh Heaven when he spied Crowley nearby with a frown. He remembers that man all too well as he gets up from the piano and gets himself some Earl Grey tea from the bar.]

So we meet again, Mister Crowley.

[ He was listening to that too. Why'd you stop? ]

Tea? At a bar... [ smirks. ] We sure do. Not like it's...a big place or anything.

[He was thirsty, he wanted a drink.]

Is that a problem? [A small laugh.] I suppose that's true.

[ Get a manly drink, geez. ]

Not at all. But some liquid inspiration might help you with your thing, you know? [ He swirls the little remaining contents in his glass before downing the rest. Then he puts the glass on the bar where it will refill itself automatically. But you didn't see that. ] Not really much room to wander around in this...bubble.

The endless cycle of reincarnation is what my world an religion are about actually.

Really? Have the same principles? Or is there a catch? Always a catch.

Well, in my world, before everyone is born, they are granted 3 wishes by the Chief of Heaven which we forget the moment we are born. Our mission in life is to find out what those 3 wishes are and to make them come true. Once all 3 of our wishes come true, we are returned to the Chief of Heaven where he allow us to choose how and what we would like to be reborn as. In addition, we are once again granted 3 wishes before we are reborn and so on.

[ Is this like that lightbulb question--oh wait. ]

Do I now? I doubt I'm even touching the surface, pagans, have so many gods and rules can't keep up with them sometimes.

[Pagans, eh?]

Rules just equal paperwork, you know. Far too much paperwork.

[ Yeah. Pagans and their multiple gods/goddesses. ]

Nng not a fan of that myself. At least there's always drinking to get rid of the bitter after taste.
