While descending into the Silicon Valley at night, at a certain distance, the cities light up like a printed circuit board.

You say you have nothing else like that is a bad thing. Seriously, people in creative endeavors (or simply creative people) are under-appreciated by the masses, to put it mildly. They don't care, but they are wrong. If not for creative types we would all be drones.

Personally, having to justify being a writer would be saying it means I think about everything all the time. Which I almost do, but I am not a writer.

Writers have much more function on the grid than drones by virtue of the fact that they are actually contributing to the electrical content rather than simply being a conduit.
