Thursday after work we went out to meet a rabbit. Two rabbits, in fact. bunny_hugger had found a pair of rescued rabbits ready for adoption and in a town in the Lansing area. At Cedar Point this Sunday, apart from the exercise of walking all around the loop of the park, we stuck pretty much up near the front. Indeed, besides Cedar Downs and Iron Dragon I don't think we rode anything that was farther back than the Sky Ride cable cars. The cars were themselves closed, I imagine for weather. My father made it through surgery, and is as I write this just hanging out in the hospital room overnight, being observed. Trusting they can still see him tomorrow he'll be sent home to have a break from packing for five days or so, because did I mention they're moving to a new place end of next month? I got my flu and Covid shots this evening --- the pharmacy also volunteered that they could hook me up with the chicken pox vaccination that I need since, again, despite being a child of the 70s and despite my three siblings all getting it, I've never had chicken pox --- and I expect to spend tomorrow being a cranky, aching potato.
