Let's have Jane Austen's famous first line for Pride and Prejudice start us off.
OPTION 1
Single men of good fortune: maybe they are in want of a wife, maybe they don't really care, but Austen's work are full of these single men. Some we love, some we hate, and some that are tolerable, I suppose. Maybe they will tempt you to make icons of them.
OPTION 2
Austen's second line continues, "However little known the feelings or views of such a man may be...", pointing out that this just may not be the case. For the second option, your icon must exhibit an obvious divide; an incongruity; two sides of a coin.
