Rory had food from Ching Tai and of course, way more coffee than anyone really needed, and had taped up all of her notes and schematics so far up on her wall. "We'll fix it," Bridge says confidently, looking around the room until he spots the book that started it all on Rory's desk. He takes a seat on the bed, as far away from the book as physically possible.

"Okay, fighty people," Rory said, looking directly at Aeryn and Charlie immediately. "After what Tyler saw and what I think we're facing...you're going to have to go out there armed and ready for whatever's coming."

She pointed up on her wall, and held up a book. "This is what we're looking at," she said, holding up the book to show a picture. "Only bigger. Based on what we're finding, we need to get rid of these guys, because I think they're the source of all the trouble. I know...next to nothing about this stuff. I leave it all in everyone else's capable hands."

"My people," Rory said with a small smile, looking at Dawn and John. "Those of you who were here for study group, we're going to be doing that again. We need to lay in supplies, run communications, and basically outfit these guys for whatever they're running into. And don't forget, we'll have to deal with other stuff, too - nightmares, pudding, or kitties."

She pulled a cat off her leg as she spoke. "We need to brainstorm."

Dawn thought about that, trying not to be upset about staying behind. "I made some protective necklaces in workshop today. No reason we can't make more, I guess. If someone could put a spell on them, that would probably be better."

"I don't know," Dawn admitted, pulling one out of the pocket of her jeans. "It's got protective stones and runes carved into it, but I think it needs more oomph."

Rory addressed the whole group. "I have no real way to say how sorry I am," she said quietly once she had everyone's attention. "For your nightmares - which Willow's magicking away, which is why she's not here - for the pudding, for all of it. I deserve however much your opinions of me have suffered, and if you want to yell at me, do it."

Xander winced at the OMGWOE guilt in her voice, and piped up. "Oh, c'mon. Who here hasn't accidentally let loose a curse on their whole town? Raise your hand." He didn't raise his.

Rory's kitty totally raised its paw. Probably not because of anything having to do with Xander and more to do with batting at Rory's hair, but still.

When the door closed behind the last person, he turned to Rory. "You're getting some sleep tonight," he said firmly.

He walked over and sat next to her. "What can I help with? Weapons lists? Communications?"
