Angela impatiently waits through the ring, rereading an email.

Rory looked at her caller ID and grinned as she picked up the phone. "Hi!"

"Hi, Rory," Angela said, voice cautious. "How's Fandom?"

"It's good!" Rory answered brightly, because it was nice to talk to a good friend who she wouldn't be kissing in a few hours, and who didn't randomly hate her boyfriend. "How goes vacation? How's Marty? Anything interesting?"
