Isabel followed her in, the two bunnies from Art Studio perched on her shoulder, holding on to her hair. "You don't have to worry about Vladdie flying out?"
"Not until he wakes up," Rory said, pointing to Vladdie's basket. He'd lifted his head to yip at them, but otherwise hadn't stirred.
"Okay," she said, stepping over a suitcase, "again, sorry about the mess - aha!" Rory snapped a quick picture of a weetiny bunny as it bounced out from under her bed and began to cling to her leg.
"Don't worry about it. It's just clutter," Isabel said as she stepped carefully to avoid any stray bunnies. "A mess is my friend Michael's apartment. I swear to god, I opened his fridge once and something waved at me."
"Sounds like my house," Rory said, poking under her bed and pulling out a couple bunnies, which attacked themselves to her hand. "My mom always forgets to throw stuff out, 'cause we can't cook, so we always have stuff lying around that we forget about."
Rory pulled some glitter from...her nightstand. Which was probably kind of a weird place to keep glitter, but Rory's strange.
And that's her story and she's sticking to it.
"Ewoks live on a planet in Anakin's galaxy," she said, dabbing some glue onto the card and making a little glittery heart. "They're about yay big -" she held a hand up around her navel "- and are apparently very, very cute. He brought this one back for me after he went back over Christmas."
"They sound sweet. And if they all look like George, they're much cuter then how you'd usually picture an alien." And yes that was irony. Isabel shook her head, "I wonder if we're related."
She propped bear up against a coffee cup and then tried to position George so that he looked like he was admiring Bear's hat.
"I doubt it." She glanced at Isabel. "You know, you're not the first, um, human-looking alien I've met," she said with a little shrug. "I'd have never guessed if stupid Skeeter hadn't said anything."
She moved Holly a little and tried to cross her wee arms, tilting her head down so she looked ever so sad.
"It might be possible. We were made to look human because we were coming here. I don't know what we looked like before. Then again," she said, "If I was from a universe where I was related to Ewoks, I suppose Anakin would have heard of my planet before."
Isabel made a card and put it in front of Holly. *is lonely and sad*
Rory smiled. "I have one sister - well, half-sister, really - and we're not close. I've seen her maybe once since she was born last year. And now my mom's pregnant again. Must be nice to have grown up with someone like that. Though I guess you could say Mom and I grew up together, since she was only sixteen when she had me."
"I don't think I've ever met your mom. Although I've heard about her. Peter told me about the detention she ran that he was in." Isabel laughed, "They decorated tools with glitter. And dicussed coffee related baby names."
"She was young when she had you. But I guess it makes you closer?"
"In a way, yeah," Rory nodded. "I don't know. She's more my best friend than my mom, really." She grinned, suddenly. "And the baby is getting a coffee-related name, because I get to name him."
"That's nice. My mom is great, it's just hard at times because she doesn't know what we are. When I go home, I really think it's time Max and I tell her the truth," she shuddered and shook her head. "Of course first I might need to mention to Max that everyone here now knows the truth. I'll definitely need anti-emo weetiny bunnies when I do that. His head is going to explode."
"We were supposed to come here and learn to use our powers. I guess they thought we'd be safe here." Isabel rolled her eyes. "Of course that plan went to hell when the ship crashed."
