Bridge knocks on the door and pokes his head in.

"Rooooooooory!"

"Briiiiiiiiiiidge!" she replied over her shoulder. "Hi! I have waffles."

"Hi! I have a present." Bridge says, stepping in to the room, careful to keep whatever he's carrying with him concealed behind his back.

"A present?" Rory turns from her very important waffle-making to look at him. "What kind of present? It's not my birthday for a couple weeks."

Eric knocks on the slightly open door. "Hey, it's me. Eric."

"Hi!" Rory says brightly. "Want a laptop waffle?"

[weissguy_]

"Uh, sure." Eric takes that as his cue to amble in. "Are we takling a laptop made of waffles or a waffle made of laptops?"

Naturally, as there's an exciting new person in the room, Vladdie decides to go sniff at Eric.

"Neither, actually," replies Rory. "It's a waffle made on a laptop."

Cally knocked on Rory's door and waited, patiently.

Rory glances over at the door, and says, "Hi Cally...oh my God, are you okay?"

"Yeah, it looks worse than it feels," Cally said. "I'm kinda amazed the school rumor mill hasn't picked up on this thing faster. But, ummm, hi. How are you?"

"I'm fine," Rory said, motioning her in. "What happened?"
