On Sunday a couple of friends and I decided to go
check out the zombie walk at the last minute. The munchkin ended up too afraid of it all to really go participate. So, we watched from a safe distance... across the street at various points along the route. A friend of mine

I did end up with your white face paint, but I haven't seen the rest of your stuff. I'll keep an eye out when I unpack my bag later. Perhaps it ended up in that plastic bag?
Oh yea, for future reference you have my permission to post pictures of the sprite and I on your LJ. As long as the pictures don't suck, it's all good! I trust your judgment since I've seen how unbelievably ridiculously picky you are when it comes to that sort-of thing. ;-)
Pssst.... feel free to post any of these pictures in your journal. =)

Though oddly enough she was talking about it later and really wanted to see all of the pictures when I was looking through them later. *hehe* She oscillates between morbid fascination and trepidation. I think that's pretty normal for her age. So, I just try to pay attention to what she wants and needs at that point in time and talk to her about it along the way. As long as she has me there and has me paying attention to what she needs... sometimes just a reassuring cuddle and some time to warm up to things... then she's okay.
Trust me, she's not traumatized by the whole event and clearly she still loves you to bits and pieces!!! =)

Should have had Chris snap a couple pictures of me all cleaned up at dinner for the before and after contrast... *hehe*
BTW, thanks for the wake-up call this morning! That helped a ton to get my body jump started into wakey-wakey mode. Hell, she was even on time to school today!!! :0 So funny to see that only half of the class was there moments after the bell rang though... ;-) I don't know how my body is ever going to adjust to having to get up before the sun even hits the sky now that we've reached the autumnal-winter sun cycle. Oi!!!
