Cottage Closing Weekend-that-was

Last weekend we went back up to the cottage for one last time this year. So sad *sniff* It was beautiful up there but it's kinda depressing, closing the cottage for the year. Really drives home that summer is over - and our one escape from the city is locked up

The name came from a friend of George's, as in it's his surname. Of course, I'll never be able to hear the name without thinking of the dog!

Oh, my, the cottage and view just looks so peaceful and autumny. It looks exactly like the sort of place I would love to sit at with a notebook and pen, and just write all day.
