There’s only going to be one post this month. Originally, this was going to be because I was only really sitting on one new album that I felt like sharing (the Horrors), but that changed as of about last week. So now it’s just one giant bulk post.

First off, I reviewed the new Handsome Furs LP, here.

The past few months have seen lots (and lots and lots) of high profile releases. Now that those are finally winding down, I can focus on some more unknown stuff. So that’s what this update will eventually get to.

These past three months have been…extraordinarily prolific, music wise. So this favorite’s list update is kind of stupidly long. I think I only mentioned twenty records in all back in march, where here I have almost twenty in my definites section alone. I’ll try to keep everything brief.

I intended to make another one of these for the end of April, but that just never happened. As a result, this one is going to have a few more artists than usual. Sort of like what the last few have been.

This is just going to make those inevitable slow months all the more depressing, you know?
