After Christmas, once the Werewolf!Fic and the sequel to 'Thanksgiving' and such are out and I have all three seasons of DW, I'll try to write some.

Why have we been getting so many episodes devoted to Owen?
I don't understand why they bothered making Owen sympathetic if they were just going to have him go back to being an ass. I actually started liking him, after "Ghost Machine", when he was so horrified at the rape/murder and bent on getting revenge for the victim. And I understand that he's hurting, but I'm not willing to excuse his assholery to EVERYONE. As poor sweet Ianto pointed out, he only knew Diane for a FREAKING WEEK and she LEFT HIM OF HER OWN FREE WILL. I'm not sure if I squeed louder at the Jack/Jack kiss or at Ianto shooting Owen.

Also? That Jack/Jack kiss was far hotter than it had any right to be. What has Heroes done to me? I didn't used to find slash hot.

They did cut quite a few things out of the Ianto/Owen argument (I watched all these as BBC versions first). In the original version, Owen was even meaner - it was pretty shocking, about what he knows about Jack and Ianto and all the "fuck on the side" stuff. I was so glad when Ianto shot him - though I can imagine it's going to make the whole "co-worker" thing a bit awkward :)

I did lie about the links being Gareth and James - just Gareth, and wow, not the sort of thing you'd expect him to be singing - all wailly and growly, and the "Roadhouse Blues" song features a good deal of his shirt riding up (wow am I a dorky fangirl:).

There used to be a vid of him and James (which I saw before ever watching Torchwood), but all the youtube links seem to be dead. But they do seem to be quite good friends (now thinking Torchwood RPS, just a little)
