My friend left today. He’s not coming back. I got wicked depressed. I gave him a paper crane and a hug, and I watched him get into his car and drive off. I felt like I’d just watched the Ninth Doctor regenerate into Ten.

YAY!Werewolf fics! I'm so excited!
1) Maybe, and I won't be much help without context, but maybe Molly got there because someone in the camp/village thing had the ability to manipulate Molly's ability to find anyone (if that's how you're going with it- I dunno) and bring her to them? That's a tough one without knowing anything about the rest of the story.
Actually, if you want (totally up to you, obviously, don't feel obligated), you can send what you've got to me and maybe I can help after I get a better grasp on the story.

Peter- well, if this is wholly AU you don't have that convenient post-season 1 "I just exploded and need to get away from my life" thing to fall back on. But it seems that Nathan is some kind of werewolf hunter, if I'm reading it correctly, so maybe Peter's just really against that and runs off with a werewolf as a kind of rebellion. It's a little dramatic and immature, but I don't know what kind of Peter you're writing. Also, to "spur this drastic action" Nathan could come up with some kind of horrific Final Solution-type plan to murder all werewolves.
Sorry to hear about your friend. That's happened to me plenty of times in my life, it never gets much easier. Glad to hear you might have someone else to fill the gap a little bit.
