After a weekend spent largely away from the news and the Internet, I spent the morning at work catching up. Particularly by reading the discussions on fark over the "George W. Bush authorized illegal spying on American citizens" fiasco. Needless to say I was appalled by this and by the ability of some people to still support it. Searching for ( Read more... )

thats an interesting viewpoint and the more i think about it the more i agree with it.

as a result i am staring a new political party called the bears... oh wait.

I would take issue with your vaporous claim that Republicans value smaller government, but I can't stand talking politics. For many of the reasons you state above, it's consistently left a sour note in my mouth, as discussion degrades quickly into antagonistic mudslinging. So I instead talk about stuff like football, where antagonistic mudslinging is minimal, at best. ;)

Steelers have always been a run first, pass second team. As far as I know, they have played about the same since their inception. Now the Bengals is a different story...
