Do you have any idea how scary and frustrating it is when your mind no longer works like it used to? I used to have a fairly quick mind… rather sharp, actually. I wasn't brilliant, no. I learned this morning that President Faust passed away yesterday.  *sigh*  Who is he, you might ask?  He is the second counselor in the first presidency of my church.  Here's a bit about him, and if you watch the short video, the clips of him do an awsome job of showing what he was like as a person.

At the end of February, I started to have problems with vertigo, and displacement in time and space. I went to the doctor, and she put me on a medication. Well, it didn't help, and in fact I started to see from each eye independently. (If you look back in the archives, you'll see a very funny tale of me attempting to grocery shop.) My 12 yr old son called me up the other night from a youth activity at our church. It was a combined boys/girls activity, and they were playing "strobe dodge-ball" in the gym. I just got back from the physical therapist. He was a godsend. Apparently, what I've got is called Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. He put my head in several positions while examining my eyes, and you should have seen how excited he got.
