Godzilla Is For Wimps

For sheer unbridled terror, nothing beats a sea monster. Yeah, T. Rexes and Velociraptors are pretty scary, but you know they’re gone. Kinda hard to hide if you’re 20 feet tall and weigh 6 tons isn’t it? But out in the ocean you never know

You know what's really odd? I am not afraid of sharks, leviathans, krakens, dinosuars, or other weird things that may be lurking in the ocean ready to devour me in one gulp. I have no problem with deep water. You know what freaks me out? Seaweed. The really long kind with the tendrils that kind of catch at your legs when you're swimming. One touch of that and it's an effort to keep from heading back to shore.

*giggles* I liked this quite a lot! I wasn't expecting it to turn out to be first person -- and that person to be a dinosaur -- but it worked well and was a really fun read!

Swimming is sort-of a non-issue for me (or a major issue, depending on how you look at it!) as I've never learned how! No deep water for me! Ever!

I very rarely write first person. It just seemed to fit the piece.
