Oh, man. So sorry, sweetie. What a day. How does the dog even get her teeth into a butternut squash? I can't even attack one of those with a dang butcher knife - have to cook it before cutting.

I have NO idea! Besides, she'd already passed up the butternut a few days ago when she ate a bag of apples. The frustrating thing is she keeps eating things that could hurt her--crushing a glass jar, for example, or the sharp plastic shards of the lip balm tube. I grease her up with oatmeal or rice and pray that nothing rips her intestines open. I'm spending all this time and money on her treatment, and she's not going to die of cancer, you know!!
