I like how these last 2 chapters have neatly smacked the SGC and their 'omygodweleftwimmenincharge' attitudes. And OMG, Rodney, still so clueless. (poor John!) Thank God for Cadman.
Another perfectly balanced chapter, the gentle coming together again, not just of Rodney and john, but of the team as a whole was wonderfully stated. They started to get their cohesion back in a very believable way. Teyla starts to open up to them a little, Rodney, John and Ronon's interaction with each other also shifted beautifully

One thing confuzzling me: why haven't we heard anything about what Rodney is going to have to do on Hermea? Or was it mentioned and we missed it?
He'll have to speak to Elizabeth about maintenance, including someone sweeping up after the gate teams.

I already friended the comm, but I'm never comfortable pushing a story forward, especially one like this, that's been chugging along for so long. I mean, I forget to pimp it in my own journal.

It is literally impossible for me to believe that they haven't worked this out years ago.
That's the sort of maintenance thing Elizabeth probably dealt with ages ago. Or Sheppard assigns the cleaning to marines as punishment duty, and Rodney's just never thought about it before.
