What the hell?

I try to be the best friend i can be, supportive when I'm asked, ready to listen when needed, up for hanging out whenever my schedule permits.  Why is it, then, that when I give so much to the people that I think are my friends, they don't seem to give a damn about me?  As Maid of Honor, whenever I was asked to do something, I did it.  I attended ( Read more... )

I can't imagine they'd actually say they didn't want to be in the bridal party if you asked them ... well, maybe the one who decided to have her own wedding two weeks before you, and I bet she would use that as her excuse.

If you ever want to talk wedding and it's midday, you know I'm generally free. :) I know I'm not a bridesmaid, but I'll listen, and I'm excited for you, and I hate that you feel alone. :(

"Expectations are killers of joy." I find that true, especially when we give while expecting something in return. Since God loves a cheerful giver, maybe this is a call to continue to give cheerfully and offer up your cross. May God bless you and future husband.
