The Old Spice Guy in Portland?!?

I'm finding that chemistry is beyond fascinating. Today in lab, I got to melt copper in acid, pour water in it to make a beautiful aqua liquid, add another acid to make it smurf blue, boil it until a solid separated from it, add zinc to cause a fantastic release of hydrogen, and ended up with clear liquid and - ta da - copper chunks. There's an abandoned car on the highway on my way to work. You could probably hotwire it and make it all yours.

P.S. gimme office or perish!

I still haven't opened the thing, which is silly. It's like I'm afraid it'll spoil before I need to use it or something.

You never know. It might start a countdown timer for when it'll explode and destroy your OS.

I think I'm in man-love with the old spice guy. If I could choose who to be reincarnated as, it would be him.

Sounds like my girl-crush on Flo, the Progressive spokesperson, but oh so much cooler.

I've gotten pretty awesome coverage with one go of black before, especially if your hair is already brown. BUT my hair is a lot shorter.

I love the Old Spice guy.

I like chem, too.

I was thinking of going red, mayhaps, as an alarming amount of my hairs suddenly seem to be WHITE. Like.... a very alarming. It was as if I hit 35 and my body went "Welp! We're ancient now, might as well throw in the pigment towel!"

Sheesh.

My hair is suuuuper long now, and the idea of having to deal with coloring it and getting a nice coverage makes me whine with laziness. I'm also too poor to pay for a professional job. Maybe if I would just get around to donating my hair like I've planned to for awhile now..

Whoa! Well it's a good reason to go red! :D

There's nothing wrong with dying it yourself! I think people can do a good job of it. :) If you have really long hair, then yeah, I can see it taking more work. MY HAIR IS MOSTLY GONE sldkhgsdklg

I miss you, too! I came across your wedding invitation - it had been buried on my desk under a trillion different things and I realized that I had missed the date.

I sincerely hope that it was a wonderful one, m'dear, you certainly deserve it.

You've been on the brain lots!

I'd enjoy it so much more, if there weren't all this freaking MATH involved in it. I'm good at math, you see, I'm just SUPER LAZY.
