We've gotten over a foot since yesterday up here in NH.

Considering that each year, we almost don't get any snow, or about half an inch accumulation tops... and here we are under about a foot of it here and there? A lot of people are in a panic. They said it should finally get above freezing (a whopping 40 degrees) by this weekend and start melting.

I'm sure that a lot of people wish they could walk to work or afford to stay home. I'm hearing so many stories of people that desperately need the money due to the sucky economy but their works are closed due to the weather. Naturally, they're not getting paid any compensation or whatnot.

That's what happened to my work. I wasn't scheduled anyway, but they closed Sunday for weather. Then today I had to deal with people who were complaining we were closed.
