I posted a bit ago that I was done with the band thing, and while it was a difficult decision, I felt it was something I needed to do. I need to quit the band so that I can focus more on ME - I plan on working to get rid of the garnishment and head back to school to get that nursing degree.
I think I MIGHT play music in the future, if something to convenient and right presents itself, but for now...?
The more I see/read on Palin, the more I'm thinking that McCain is smacking himself in the head at his choice. I'm hoping that the majority of Americans can actually SEE what a feeble choice this is instead of making all sorts of oblivious excuses to support the Republican party.
I remember watching the Bush/Kerry debates and thinking "Omgosh, people HAVE to be coming to their senses when they hear what an idiot he is!" just to have my hopes dashed afterwards when they took phone interviews. SRSLY, the only leg they had to stand on against Kerry, it seems, was that he was "wishy washy". For the flip floppy issues he had, he even explained that different things need different decisions at different times, and his viewpoint changes due to things going on in life and around him. Hell, anyone with intelligence knows that each of our opinions - if we're a healthy individual - changes over time as we have more experiences, etc.
Wow. I guess I am still a bit bitter over the last election.
Absolutely freaking agreed. For awhile there, we were inundated with both in our house, GRAR. I mean, srsly, fleas are on the top of the food chain - I'm feeling nothing eats THEM, and they eat us.. thustly, they're #1.
OOOooooOOOOooo! Good to know! I also heard that they hate cedar.. PetSmart recommended I buy a $5 giant bag of cedar from them and make little pillows to lay around the house.
Oh how I love lavender - I used to hate it, but seem to like it more and more as I age.
