Well first just let me say how happy I am to see this posted
and how awesome it was to read it, your are also very mean to
have the cliffie at the end!

did Methos leave the books with his journal notes in the living room?
it doesn't seem like him to leave that around...

also Did he and Edward have any sort of conversation before sleeping?
(and those two must have a great time falling sleep with the ones that almost killed them nearby)

I loved the touches of domesticity you added and how Methos knows just how much of Adam to use around Anita and how much of it not to bother with.

I can imagine that after the attack they will have much to discuss the three of them...

Thank you very much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

And no, Methos didn't leave his notes in the livingroom -- though it wouldn't really matter if he had, as neither Anita nor Edward reads Akkadian. :)

good to know that....

but I bet Edward would have taken pictures and sent to a translator so he could find out about what was written!

and I loved it

Great chapter, thanks for continuing the story. Good interaction and love the references to the horseman, duncan, etc. It all rings true.

I'm impressed that Methos persists in clinging to the Adam persona despite his acknowledgement that it doesn't work on people who know it's a persona.
Considering you've ended the chapter with a line about a battle before dawn, I'm really hoping you update soon. *hint hint*

It's not so much that it doesn't work as it is that it doesn't work as *well*. It's certainly easier for him to play Adam than it is for him to let either of them get a good look at Methos. Thano you so much for the feedback; I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yay yay yay, another chapter. I love this crossover, more, more :-).

I love your Edward, I almost feel sorry for whoever attacks these three.

Thank you so much -- especially for the comment on Edward. I'm always nervous when writing him, as LKH left so very much unsaid but still managed to give him a very specific voice. It makes him a challenge, that's for sure.

I'm really glad you're enjoying the story; thank you again for the lovely feedback.

Huzzah for more chapters! I love this fic! I especially like how Methos keeps referencing the horseman in how he sees Anita and Edward. And I admit to almost feeling sorry for the Lucius character - he deserves what he's going to get, but I pity anyone who has to deal with these three.

Thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. And yes, Lucius is kind of pitiable. I wouldn't want to be on the bad side of any one of these three, let alone all of them.

Hey, I just stumbled across this and am enjoying it immensely: two of my favorite fandoms, although this is the first I've read of Anita fanfic. It's a logical crossover, I have to admit. You've caught her nicely, I think. More like the old Anita that I really adore. Nice to see Edward in action here too. Great fight scene at the beginning and a very intriguing plot. Looking forward to more. (Soon, please; the cliffhanger is killing me!)

Thank you so much! I'm so very glad that you gave it a try, especially as you haven't read any Anita-fic before. I'm also glad that she rings true to the old Anita for you; that's definitely what I'm going for, and the main reason that I set it after the first book. I really abhor what LKH has done to her characters. More is already in progress -- I swear it won't be as long between updates as it was last time. Thank you again for the lovely feedback!
