did Methos leave the books with his journal notes in the living room? it doesn't seem like him to leave that around...
also Did he and Edward have any sort of conversation before sleeping? (and those two must have a great time falling sleep with the ones that almost killed them nearby)
I loved the touches of domesticity you added and how Methos knows just how much of Adam to use around Anita and how much of it not to bother with.
I can imagine that after the attack they will have much to discuss the three of them...

And no, Methos didn't leave his notes in the livingroom -- though it wouldn't really matter if he had, as neither Anita nor Edward reads Akkadian. :)
