WHOA that shocked me! Like, okay, I kind of just naively believed, like Joey did, that Ellie was pretending she didn't like Shaun, and I was super excited to learn why they weren't together! And honestly, I kind of liked the way Joey reacted? It's realistic. Not everyone is going to be super open and okay about it, especially if it's slapped them out of the blue and they've lived their life assuming they are like sisters. And I like it because Joey is a flawed character, but we've lived with her so we know exactly why she's flawed, and where she is coming from with the whole trusting Ellie so much. Something like this is a big thing to keep secret ( ... )

Yeah, I think you're totally right, I hoped to get across that Joey is fine with the idea of LGBT people, but it was such a surprise and it took away from a lot of the trust Joey felt for Ellie. (Which is especially sad because of how hard it is for Joey to trust people) So I'm glad it came across the way it did to you, your reaction is just what I was hoping for haha ( ... )

Hey, that's a good point! I think he definitely would. Maybe we'll have to make Jared a POV character too, at least occasionally! :D

Oh, hello!

Sorry for disappearing for so long! But I am back while I'm enjoying my summer. :) I had to catch up on the previous chapters. Then, today I went on my account & saw you just posted a new chapter! It was the perfect opportunity to leave a comment! :D

I don't know how, but I have always thought that Ellie loved Joey. Anyway, it's sad to see them drift away (momentarily?). It must have been so hard for Ellie to confess her love. Joey must also be very confused at the moment.

Okay, I'll lightnen up my comment. The apartment is nicely decorated. :) Did I already mention how beautiful Ellie & Joey are? I looove Joey's haircut and her 'formal' outfit at the bar! *-*

Marco is fine af, but I still think that Jared and Joey are so cute together (after everything they've been through!) I'm also very interested to know if Joey will tell everything to Marco... Hmm, guess I have to wait for the next chapter!

So, how's your summer? Have you seen any new TV shows or movies lately? :)

Yes, my summer has been awesome! :) Ooh, I hope you enjoy your vacation! ^_^ I've heard about those shows, but I've never seen them (except for Arrow). Would you recommend all of these shows? To be honest, I loved the first two seasons of Arrow, but I didn't really enjoy the third one! If you watch Arrow, you should check out The Flash, their spinoff! :) I started iZombie and I find it hilarious! I've been catching up with Criminal Minds and just finished watching Agents of SHIELD. :D

Welp. That happened.
I dunno what it was, but towards the end of the chap I had a feeling that bombshell was coming...still was a shock to the system when it did.I was certain Ellie was at least interested in Shaun! But then Joey and Ellie have always had that special bond and Ellie has been a rock for Joey for ages and.....I mean I can KIND of see where Joey was coming from...but she took things WAY to far. But then...we all know how troubled her past is...

Not to mention everything that she is going through with Marco..that must be pretty tough for her too :/ Learning about each others pasts must be such a big thing to her...I hope she gets everything sorted :(

Agh, well at least Jared is around and not....as big a jackass as he used to be. I guess. Dare I say I missed him?

Wonderfully written chapter as always hun..and im sure we all respect that Joey's initial feelings aren't your own, no worries :D

Yeah, I agree with everything you said! I think it really just comes down to how easily Joey gets really angry. And she did have a lot of trust for Ellie, which is hard for Joey to do, so it was hard to feel like that had been taken away from her. But yeah, I feel more bad for Ellie in this situation haha.

It's so so hard for her to open up to people, so she's definitely struggling with that with Marco. :(

Haha I'm so excited that you missed (?) Jared! I really love him. I mean he definitely is/was a jackass, but I'd say he is getting better!
